Account and Data Deletion — Evolopia

Version 1 · Effective date: 2026-11-01

This page explains how to delete your account in the Evolopia app, Android package com.evolopia.app, what is deleted, and what is retained.

1) You have two options

OptionResultWhere
Delete the account and its dataThe account and its personal data are deleted; you can no longer sign inSections 2 to 6
Delete only some data, keep the accountThe account remains and only the selected items are erasedSection 7

2) Before you delete — three things that cannot be undone

3) How to request deletion

  1. In the app: open your profile, tap Edit profile, then Delete account, and confirm. This takes effect at once.
  2. Without the app: email support@evolopia.com from the email address of the Google account you sign in with, with the subject "Delete account". We reply to that address and act once you confirm, so nobody can delete someone else's account.

4) Timing

StepWhen
Request made in the appThe account is deactivated and every session is signed out immediately
Request made by emailAcknowledged within two business days; the account is deactivated once you confirm from that address
Cancellation window30 days from deactivation — section 6
Deletion or anonymisation of dataAutomatically, the day after the cancellation window closes

5) What is deleted and what is retained

5-1) Deleted

5-2) Retained

DataWhyFor how long
Financial records: the coin ledger and purchasesAccounting obligations and purchase-dispute resolutionone year
The record of the deletion and deactivation action itselfEvidence that your request was carried outone year
Aggregated, anonymous statisticsService-health measurement; not attributable to youIndefinitely
Usage analytics and crash reports already sent to GoogleThey expire at Google under the retention periods in the privacy policyUp to 14 months
Any data under a legal retention obligationLegal requirementUntil the statutory period ends
Database backupsDisaster recoveryUntil normal backup rotation

Retained financial records are separated from your identity data and kept only to the extent needed for that purpose.

6) Cancelling a request

Sign in again with the same Google account within 30 days of deactivation and the account is reactivated. Once deletion has been executed, the data cannot be restored.

7) Deleting some data without deleting the account

WhatHow
Profile picture"Remove picture" on the app's profile screen — the file is genuinely deleted
Optional profile fields: email, gender, birth year, occupation, educationLeave them empty when editing your profile and save; saving a profile is a full replacement, so an empty field is cleared
One device's notificationsRemove that device from the notification list in the app
Setting a habit aside"Delete habit" in the app. Note: this archives the habit; its history and performance records stay in your account and full erasure happens only through account deletion
The Google account you sign in withIt is the account's identifier, so it is removed only by deleting the account
